Pest Control in Coral Springs
Coral Springs is right below Parkland and a lot bigger, with 134,394 people at the 2020 census. It was chartered in 1963 and master planned, mostly by Coral Ridge Properties, which Westinghouse bought in 1966. Canals and levees drained much of the land the city was built on, and that water network is still everywhere.
The city has more than 50 parks, from Mullins Park (its largest at 70 acres) to the Sandy Ridge Sanctuary nature area. It's also known for strict rules on paint colors, roofing materials and landscaping. Brown lawns and torn screens get noticed.

Older homes, older problems
Coral Springs has been building since the 1960s, so plenty of its homes have had decades for termites to find them, door seals to wear out and roofline gaps to open. Calls from here lean toward subterranean termites, drywood termites in attic framing, and roaches getting in through old weep holes and door sweeps.
Canal lots bring their own mix of mosquitoes and the occasional rat working the seawall.
Lawns that have to look right
With the city's landscaping rules, chinch bug damage and whitefly-blackened hedges aren't just ugly. They can draw a code notice. Our lawn and shrub pest page explains how to check for chinch bugs and what treatment usually involves.
